MacOS9.2 English + Japanese ethernet card

I've just signed up for ADSL service with an NTT line in Tokyo. I have a powerbook G3 with OS9.2 and have found I have no airport card (airport version 1.3). What will work with my system to get connected? And since I can only by Japanese versions here, will they work with my English operating system?
