iPod touch mail help

I can recieve emails normally when im connected to my home wi-fi network but it doesnt seem to work on campus 😕 Any helpers?

You campus is probably blocking certain ports.

My email account works through my notebook on campus though. Or is that not relevant?

Are you getting internet access from your iPod while on campus? Does safari work?

If so, then check that the mail account settings on your iPod are the same as for the same account of your notebook.

If you have a mac (not sure on PC), delete the email account on the touch and let mac do the syncing. Then see if it works. The Mac will copy your security settings over so it will work.
