Calling Card Feature with iPhone

Anyone know how to program the iphone to automatically call an 800 number with programmed calling card number and phone number with one touch? I was able to do it in treo's using the "more numbers" feature and inserting comma's between numbers to pause the dialing process. I'm tired of punching in all the codes and phone numbers.

Thank you in advance.

Adding in new numbers

It's very easy. Add a new number as usual. Click the "+*#" in the lower left. On that screen is a button labeled "pause". Click and then add the new number that follows the main 800 number. The pause is probably a second long.
I don't know how many numbers and pauses you can add (the "string"). Someone else might know

You should check the instruction of the calling card on how to use it to your phone. If you cannot see anything. Try to call the company or the brand who produce that calling card. Next time, buy a calling a card with a clear instruction on how to use it with your phones or any other phones so that you will not encounter that types of minor problems. I am glad that you are using calling cards. Me, myself also use calling cards. I can make hundreds of calls in one day with a cheaper rate compared to higher bills that you will get when you use your mobile phones. Especially, when you are makling calls outside the country. Calling cards is a cheaper option in making calls inside and outside of your country and even on far distant. Remember, check the instructions first before buying a calling card.

I have used Canada calling cards while I went to Canada for business purpose. For iPhone after adding new number click "+*#" ,click "pause" on the same screen and then add the new number that follows 800. I hope it will help lots of iPhone users.

calling card feature with iphone

We are going through Internet technology revolution. Every second of clock is inventing something new in the Web World. For talking to friends and family member we always take help of telecom service providers and hire those one whose service is cheapest. But have you ever been thought that internet calling is even cheaper than telecom service provider's services. Yes, and this comes very true when we especially talk about the international calling. Recently I purchased the prepaid India calling card from Telcan as I often travel all around the world. They really provide very low priced calling rates. My mind suddenly thought are online calling cards cheaper than telecom provider's calling rates?
