I found a nice little program that allows me to speed up the fans if I want to. Im wondering if it's worth speeding them up just a little to get some of the temps down. Here are some of the measurements right now with fans being controlled by the system not the program:

CPU A&B: 95-100 degrees
Northbridge: 171
All HD bays (Filled with a HD in each): 85-90
Memeory banks (most filled): 100-125
Memory modules: 150-170
Hard Drives: 90-110

Are these good/bad/normal?

Would you suggest upping the fan speed a little?

These are all normal. I wouldn't worry about the temps too much. As long as its not 95 degrees in your room, you'll be fine.

To get a better idea:

- what system do you have
- what is the ambient temp
- what memory modules do you have (size 1GB DIMMS, 2GB DIMMS?)
- what are your fans running at now?

If you want, iStatPro widget will list all this....take a screenshot of the temps and fans section and post.

The memory that's up over 170F and the Northbridge that is over 170F are a little high...in my opinion.

I'm on a 2006 Mac Pro with 11GB of RAM. I notice that setting smcFanControl to put the CPU fan at 600rpm (up 100rpm from the standard)...which also increases the exhaust automatically to 700rpm does wonders. Keeps the temps within reason.
