What do you think is MBA profit margin?
I honestly think out of all Apple products, the MBA has the biggest profit margin. Since the MBA is made only for a more select type of users, they are obviously going to sell less. In order to consider the MBA a success/profitable they had to charge a little more than many people expected ($1100-$1500). Apple can justify the higher price because it fits perfectly between the price of the macbook and the macbook pro.
How much do you think Apple is profiting off each base MBA unit? This isn't a hate thread. I bought a MBA SSD.... |

People outside the US shouldn't be selecting anything besides the last three options. :^)

I would think that taking into account R&D and advertising they are making very little until they have sold lots of units.
