Started today ... fan constantly on, no open apps and activity monitor doesn't show anything using any CPU. The air coming out is warm though, so something is making it work.

Any ideas?
Cheers,
Adam

The fan is always on.

Download iStat Pro to see how fast it is going, it idles at 1800rpm. Also check (in activity monitor in utilities) what processes are running and how much cpu they are taking up, you may have a locked application/process that is causing your computer to heat up.
