When to buy powerbook to get Panther factory installed?

Hi.

I'm in the process of buying a powerbook (1.25GHz Al) and I was wondering if it would come with Panter preinstalled if I order let's say on Saturday.

On the apple web site, they clearly say that the new ibooks come with Panther installed, while the powerbooks are said to come with Jaguar... Will this change after Panther is officially released? I just want to save myself the Panther update order..

I bought my Powerbook last Sunday and was told that it would make no difference buying then or on Friday night because Panther would not be shipping with new Powerbooks for at least a couple of weeks.

Having said that, I am STILL waiting for my Up-to-Date... maybe I should just accept that it's not coming today ;(
