Gah! This is driving me crazy! What it this thing called?

Okay, so my girlfriend and I were talking over AIM (we do that when we're at our respective father's houses for the weekend) and she mentioned that she smelled me. I told her that I sometimes have the same thing where I smell her and she's not there. I read something about it before, but I don't remember what it was called, and it's driving me crazy!

I tried Google, and Ask, with no luck!

Olfactory synesthesia could be one term (or even hallucination).
