Silenced Powermac G4

Wow what a surprise. I have a 466 Powermac Digital Audio and it was suffering from a noise like like a dentists drill. I thought it was the fan after checking the web and also sticking my ear in it , however it was the hard drive. I replaced the ide 30gb with a 250gb sata using a serial ata card and now the thing is very quiet indeed!
Anyone any tips for even quieter operation?
