Can someone quickly check the iPhone box size & weight for me?

Hey all,

Just need to get an estimate for o/s shipping costs and i was hoping someone who's got an iPhone + its box with them can tell me the weight, as well as its dimensions (h x w x l) - please state either inches or cm's and weather its 4gb, 8gb or 16gb (thats if they even have different weights).

Any help would be much appreciated,

H=2¾ x W=3½ x L=6

All units are inches, and the box probably weighs less than a pound. My phone is an 8gb version.

Are you in the US? I only ask because the UK boxes are both larger and heavier due to the UK AC adaptor.

ah good point! I'm actually in AUS, but i was looking at a company in the US which redirect mail to international addresses and give you a US address to ship stuff to. Its the only way to get an iPhone virtually direct from apple - short of having someone get it for you and post it back.

So the dimensions of the US model is what i was after, cheers
