Pyro A/V or equivalent Analog to DV converter Reccomendation please.

I'm considering picking up an ADS Pyro AV Analog to Digital Video converter. Does anyone have any experience with these guys?
 
You probably know this, but most DV camcorders will passthrough analog into DV. That's what I use (my DV camcorder) because it's already available.
