Can I assign a function when two buttons are pressed?

I have the logitech v470 bluetooth mouse and using it with my macbook and I'm looking to assign a function when two buttons are pressed.
For instance left click is assigned basic click and the scroll wheel is assigned for scrolling, and pressing the scroll wheel is assigned to something else.
Is there any way for a function such as changing the volume were I hold the left click button and scroll with the scroll wheel at the same time?

thanks, B

I find that the logitech control centre is a bit confusing:
for example, take the left click button; you can assign a single click of it to something. But you are not able to assign what a double click would do or a click lock etc. Even though these are different 'key sequences' I can't seem to assign them.
