My cable company sent a message to me stating that due to a DNS server change I needed to follow a few steps in order to get back online, including going in and manually typing in a few DNS addresses. Worked well for the PC, but now I cannot get online wirelessly with my Mac anymore. I followed the cable company's instructions for getting my Mac back up, but to no avail. Is this because it's wireless? I am using a Netgear router if that means anything. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to use the PC.

If you are using a router you should change the DNS settings on the router, rather than on the computer itself.
