Anybody know how to restore text from stickies?

Hi guys/gals,

I recently upgraded the hard drive on my MacBook. I've re-installed all my apps, transferred my documents, but totally forgot to jot down the info on about six of the dashboard stickies.

Is there a way to restore this from my old hard drive? (I've got everything on Time Machine). It seems a lot of effort to swap the hard drives again just for that

Once I've done that, I can re-format my external HD and use it to do a total backup of my "new" machine.

Same problem

I ran into a similar problem and cannot find where "stickies" are saved. If you find out could you please respond to the thread. Thanks

That is for the application Stickies

For the widget Stickies you need

/Users/username/Library/Preferences/widget-com.apple.widget.stickies.plist

That did it, thanks very much

I wasn't able to restore them just by replacing the file, but by opening it up in TextEdit it's easy to see what was there.

Thanks to all those that helped!
