"Limited Time Special Price" What's up?

Been checking out the refurb store lately and just noticed this today. The current gen iMacs are all about $50 cheaper for a limited time. I don't think I've ever seen them do this.

Is it because they have so many, or could it have something to do with an update? Just curious because I'm ready to buy and wouldn't mind saving $50!
