iChat doesn't let me input text

Anyone know why iChat doesn't allow me to input text (Jaguar)? It logs on fine, but when I attempt to chat with someone all I get is the "typing" thought bubble next to my picture and it won't let me input text. When I try to click on the input text field, it just beeps at me.

Anyone have similar issues?
 
There are currently some problems with iChat and iSync, take a look at them here


Edit: iChat appears to be up now, as it works for me.
