I recently got a new iPod nano 3rd generation. Occasionally when I try to access something it just turns itself of and resets. Nothing is lost fortunately. It has been my second day of owning it and it had done this about six times 😕

I have the latest version of iTunes and the latest iPod Software.

Is it perhaps that it is quite full? (I have under a gigabyte in storage left)

Thanks very much in advance 🙂

It's not over-full, you can't do that to an iPod through iTunes.

Try restoring it using iTunes, and if that doesn't fix it, take it back to Apple, they should replace it.

I get that fairly often too. I don't think getting a replacement nano would help. I think it is more an issue with the current software version.
