enterprise does sound very very worrying, like we are going to have to pay for these apps!

OMG OMG

I really want to see some apps announced alongside this (Slingbox, and iChat). Overall this is good news that we did not go unnoticed. Looks like it will be March, not February.

Seriously, what is causing Apple to miss all of its deadlines recently?

Just like 30 is the new 20, March is the new February.

I'm looking forward to seeing what is introduced.

Hopefully this will be worth the constant rambling and debating that has taken place since the SDK was announced.

Gonna cost us for sure...

No doubt in my mind that we are all gonna have to pay something for each and every one of these apps. For this reason, I don't think the WebApps are going anywhere anytime soon.

Exciting, but now I'm a bit worried. I just ordered a refurb 8GB. What are the odds of them dropping prices/upping storage.

Hummm... lets see.... new kick butt OS in October, new iMacs before that, new iPods, updates OSX 10.5.1, new iPhone software, new, new, new....

I think they may be busy giving us new stuff all the time??? really, think about it... what other High-Tech company updates and brings out new and cool things as much as Apple? If this was MS the delay would be counted in months (or years) not days or weeks.

A week late isn't bad.

But who are they sending these invites to? Developer???
Or just the press?

I have a lot of tepidition about all this. Is this SDK going to be open? I'm nervous it will be closed, like console development.

I would pay for some apps, but I hoep some are free. Some of those apps offered for Jailbroken phones that basically do nothing (pair of 'boobs' shaking, snow across the screen like a xmas globe, etc) are not worth even $1. I'd pay up to $5 for a good app, maybe $10 if I needed for a Slingplayer.

What can we expect?

What do you guys think we can expect at the announcement? With so many rumors flying around, I really haven't been paying close enough attention the whole SDK situation.
