installed Panther on a Powermac G4 1.25, now iChat just bounces and dies in the dock. Never had problems with the beta and Jag. What gives? The only way I've been able to get around this is to disable my active network connection, launch iChat then re-enable my network connection. Anyone else see this problem? Anyone have a better solution?

I had a similar problem. (I had the previous version of iChat in a folder with some similar apps in the applications folder.)
I removed the iChat in the dock, and removed the previous version of iChat, and then opened up the version of iChat that came with Panther. Works fine now. |

Unfortunately this won't help me, I wiped the drive before installing Panther. I installed the security update lastnight and now iChat launches okay, it just won't stay launched. It opens, signs in then after about three seconds crashes again. Frustrating.
