Hi,

Rec'd several new Macbook3,1 with Leopard installed. Am not ready to upgrade to Leopard yet so I thought I'd install Tiger on them. after getting Tiger installed I was unable to get en0 (ethernet) working. It is greyed out in system preferences - can't enable it!! It appears as though there is no driver for it in Tiger. It works just fine in Leopard.

Anyone know where I can get the Tiger driver for the ethernet interface on a Macbook3,1. Or could there be something else wrong??

thanks, any help appreciated ....

Ron

Eidorian,

What is GMA X3100???

The Tiger disk is from a Macbook2,1. Used Target mode to install it from the Macbook2,1.
