My parents have a 1.5GHz Mac Mini G4 with 512MB RAM that was running Tiger. Long story short, the hard drive crapped out and I'm going to be replacing it pretty soon since it's out of warranty. I told my parents that while I'm going to be in there replacing the hard drive, they might as well get some more RAM, and they agreed, so they'll be bumped up to a gig, which sadly, is the maximum.

Now, since I have to reinstall the OS anyways, I'm trying to decide on whether I should stick with Tiger, or put Leopard on there. Tiger always ran a bit sluggish at times (I know the extra RAM will help), but how will Leopard run? Anyone running it on a system with comparable specs? Thanks

I am running leopard on a G4 iMac 1.0 with 768 MB ram and it runs OK. I am sure it would run better with more ram. What apps will they run or need? A fast hard drive should help too.
