I've got the Higher Ground Gear...

LapTrap, which is a backpack with shoulder strap and mesh backpack strap. It's extremely light and everything fits comfortably in this case. Several zipped pockets and an excellent LapTrap for working on my BlackBook 2.4 while on the bus or train as I commute to and from campuses. It also sits up above the bottom of the case by about 3/8" rubber pads that are adjustable, so your BlackBook can BREATH. About $55.00 plus tax, everyone is always asking where I got so I send 'em to this website:

http://www.highergroundgear.com/laptrap.html

I actually visited their booth at Macworld SF '07, and it was well worth the money!

I have the top one and love it. It comes with a nice protective sleeve that slides perfectly into a pocket inside the bag just for the MB. There's also ample space for other stuff.

I love this one: http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/products/...-laptop-sleeve

It offers the best protection I have ever seen. I got the black one. I've been using their messenger bags for years, I love everything they make.

Get yourself a Incase Sleeve. It fits perfectly and will fit in most backpacks, totes, or messenger bags.

The also make a Shoulder bag, and a Hardshell case.

Bags

I have a Brenthaven Edge for when I don't need a lot of stuff, and a Crumpler Considerable Embarassment for when I do.

Cheers!

I just ordered one from best buy. Is this the same type of sleeve. It was $29.99 so the price was ok.

That is the one I have, also purchased from BestBuy. It has a really cool bright neon green lining. The Macbook fits inside it perfectly.
