Very simple. It goes underneath the keyboard.
Finding an original airport card will be much harder than installing it.
The latest airport cards will NOT work.

Thanks for the replies! Do you know where I can find an original card, I started using Macs around the time the first MBPs were released so I don't know much about the older systems.

Well I wouldn't be using the wireless that often, would a USB wireless thing work? Keeping in mind it is USB 1.1.
