I found a deal on the Hauppauge HVR-950 tv tuner, but it is supposedly the Windows only version (black casing). Hauppauge makes a mac version in a white casing. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there had the Windows only version and if they've plugged it into thier Mac to see if it would work? I have a windows machine that can run the tuner, but it'd be cool if I could make it work with my MBP on the go.

It's the same hardware. Hauppauge calls it the 950 while Elgato calls it the EyeTV Hybrid.

I've used the EyeTV version on both Macs and PC's. Matter of fact Windows sees it as the Hauppauge 950.

The software is what's different.
