First of all I want to thank everyone for all of the great information that this forum provides! It has helped me numerous times!
I have a question about movie files. I have an Apple TV that I have been using for the past 8 months. I have been ripping DVDs with the Handbreak software using the Apple TV settings. The movies look great.
I just purchased a 160GB iPod Classic. Now I want to sync my movie files with the iPod but unfortunately they will not upload through iTunes.
(1) Do I need to convert these files prior to syncing to the iPod?
(2) Do I need to keep two different files in iTunes (one for iPod & one for Apple TV)?
(3) If I need to convert, what is the best software to use?
Thanks again!

TV default in Handbrake isn't compatable with the iPod, the video options aren't right. You could convert using Visual Hub. However, I suggest in the future, for simplicity, rip to an iPod compatable format straight from Handbrake, they can actually look really good on
