Resize HD without reformatting

Ok, so I want to resize my main hard drive partition (one big 40 gig partition) down to a 30 and a 10. Is there any software that will let me do this without reformatting and reinstalling panther??

As far as I know, there is no way to resize a drive/partition without destroying the information on it.
