Quicktime Stream of Apple iPhone SDK Event



Apple has posted a Quicktime stream of their iPhone SDK event today. While we've already summarized today's announcements, it's never quite the same as watching it yourself .





Here's our summary of today's announcements, including additional details from our iPhone Blog.

- iPhone SDK Details, First Look
- Apple Releases iPhone SDK, Demos Spore, Instant Messaging
- iPhone Enterprise Features: ActiveSync, Exchange, WPA2, Push Services
- iFund to Offer $100 Million in Seed Money to iPhone Developers
- iPhone Spore to be Released by EA in September
- Apple Will Allow Voice Over IP (VOIP) on Wifi
- iPhone Enterprise Beta Application
- Mass Email Move and Delete in 2.0, PowerPoint

The video quality is really good right now. I'm guessing that a lot of people haven't tried watching it yet. Usually, right after an event, I get blocky video.

Downloading? I thought it was stream only I never figure out how to download it to my computer.. I want this in my Apple Keynote archive!

Did anyone else have problems watching the video with firefox? I am running firefox 3.0b3. Had to use safari instead. Just curious.

Oh my god. The 3D games look *amazing!* I can't believe how smooth and beautiful they are!!! Will definitely be buying Super Monkey Ball.

Me too! Been having probs with Firefox all evening (uk). Gone back to Safari and all is well!

Not really a games player but I reckon when June comes round I'll be in for some late nights and blurry eyes. TouchFighter looks mint!

They should make these video streams available through AppleTV

Since AppleTV Take 2 allows users to stream podcasts (including video), iTunes movie trailers, renting, etc, they should allow people to watch AppleEvents like these through AppleTV. I would rather do that instead of streaming it in my computer.

I used Open Url option in QuickTime player and its stuck on connecting ... high traffic ?

Same here. I also have problems with ign.com using the beta . At any rate, the video worked fine with Safari
