well, about 3-4 weeks ago i got a secondary macbook. i moved everything over from my iMac to my macbook, and now my imac sees no use.

with having to unplug all my ipod docks and stuff every time i just want to leave the room, im thinking of switching my music back to my iMac.

is there any way i can access my music files wirelessly from my macbook around the house? when im away from my network?

the main point of me getting a macbook was for portability, and having it connected to my desk with all these wires doesnt make sense. that is what a desktop is for.

so my point is, how do i switch over into the ultimate wireless fantasy? if possible?

Well, if you just wanted to access your music when you were at your house, if both computers are connected to a single network then you could share libraries in iTunes. But if you want to access your music and be outside the range of your network, I think you're SOL. What kind of things do you have connected to your MacBook?
