I just got my new Mac yesterday and setup Boot Camp with Vista, had a few questions that I hope someone can answer for me.

1) Is there a way to have the system always prompt me which OS I want to boot into during start-up aside from having to press the "Option" key after the chime?

2) I don't want OS X to be able to see my Vista drive, is there anyway to hide it?

Any help is appreciated!!!

rEFIt is a pretty nice boot menu.

If you go into Finder Preferences and deselect 'CDs, DVDs and iPods' it should disappear from your desktop (no idea why it's under that preference!). Alternatively you could rename the drive whilst in Vista to ".drivename". The period makes it hidden in OS X.
