No

Not in its current state, every time I've tried to use the copy of Pixelmator I got in my Macheist bundle I've hit another show stopper bug. I wish Adobe would hurry up with PE6.

Not there yet, but the speed in which it's coming on compared to Adobe's tardiness means it'll be months rather than years before it catches up. It is now my main graphics package as both my Macs are Leopard machines and PS7 is no longer an option. I find it incredibly quick and it does everything I need it to, but there's still some interface elements that need to be added or tidied up before it'll be worth it for more demanding users.

I got Pixelmator with MacHeist as well. It seems to be a pretty good program but maybe I was expecting too much. I have always used Ulead Photoimpact on my PC and really loved it and for me, Pixelmator is not even close. Maybe I'll give Photoshop Elements a try.

As for bugs, I was very impressed that my iMac had managed to stay up for 30 days without a reboot but unfortunately all good things must come to an end I suppose and it was Pixelmator that brought my system down. Well at least for me, first Pixelmator quit, then finder, then the dock--so I just hit the reset button to reboot. Not sure if there was a better way to recover--if there is, I'd be glad to try that next time--if there is a next time.
