So I bought my external enclosure a few years back and it's internal is IDE/ATA, I didn't read about this stuff when I bought it, I thought they were all the same. I currently have a 320GB HD in there and was thinkin of upgrading, and realized there was only one ATA drive on Newegg that has a capacity of 750GB.

So should I just try to sell me External? and either get a new external with a SATA interface? This is just for backing up stuff. I was also thinking about TC.

What do you guys think?

Well
SATA drives are so cheap these days and the external cases too.

I picked up a 500GB drive and vantec case for $105CDN yesterday.
Buy new one, keep old one.
not high resale value unless you have one of those tricked out $100 cases.

I got one of those rosewill enclosure that look like a mini Mac Pro. I like it but I think I want a SATA interface, I might just get another Rosewill enclosure.
