Can you explain to us what breach of an NDA has to do with "guts"?

Not sure...

why the calculator didn't have a little more functionality from the start.

I figure it is not a main use for a lot of people but that is the beauty of the screen. I can be configured for considerable use variation.

A two line screen and more built in functions would be nice.

It would be nice to have a bit more functionality on that calculator. How hard can it be to throw in some trig functions?

heh

Only looked at the pics, but am I missing something or is the advancement of the calculator just the addition of positive an negative number handling?

And those mail features are right on the money for me, as well as MMS and horizontal viewing in all of its main applications. I'm really hoping Apple wouldn't toss out the number 2.0 with all of its shiny connotation and really just be a compatibility update for apps and "enterprise" without an substantial increase in utility and usability to the phones major features.

It says T-Mobile D so probably it is T-Mobile Germany (Germany in German is Deutschland)

It says "T-Mobile D".
The "D" stands for "Deutschland" (Germany). Note it's a 4 GB iPhone :-)

It even says "T-Mobile D" - that network is only available in Germany (D stands for Deutschland) if I am not mistaken and assuming they have not jailbroken it yet and used a fake carrier name, but I'm not sure if the fake carrier name will also show up on the info screen.

Note that the clock on the top is set to 24hrs system (13:48=1:48p.m.) which is usually not common in the US, right?

Anyway, my guess is that some people from Deutsche Telekom are behind that ...

I don't care as I am waiting for a native RPN HP style calculator anyway.

The web version is good but it's too slow.

Shoot, I am just glad that they finally put the minus sign in the right place (well normal place). It has been driving me crazy ever since I got my touch.

Parental Controls? You're kidding right? What kid under the age of 16 is carrying around an iPhone? If it's a richy rich kid then the parents probably don't have any interest in setting up boundaries for said kids.
