Has anyone downloaded and used the TZones Hack?

How does this feature work?
Will it give me wifi/internet 24/7?

hmm sounds like you have to have an iPhone...because the "more info" says it makes your EDGE faster...

So EDGE is an iPhone only service?

Yes, EDGE uses the cell phone network as a wifi type source

I think there's actually a 'hack' to set up an ad-hoc wifi network between a wifi enabled T-Mobile cell phone with TZones and your touch to get online... I know this is possible, I've read about it being done with a couple of different TMo phones... maybe this is what you were thinking about doing?
