identify & remove 'other'
I have 255MB of 'other' filling up my 2G iPod
I think I accidentally dropped a file in while dragging it across my screen. I can't locate or identify these files to remove them. I've looked under podcasts, photos, contacts I'd like to use that space. Does anyone have any ideas. I'd rather not reformat, as I no longer have some of the music on my computer. thanks |

Do you have a Mac?
If so, download a freeware program like Senuti or iPodDisk. Then transfer your songs off the iPod, restore the iPod, and then put the songs back on. Is this the iPod Nano that is having the problems? I own many iPods and the Nano is the only one I have ever had problems with. The problems that I have is actually what you are describing. Every once in a while, Other will get filled up with unknown data and I have to restore the Nano. I do not know what is causing this either. |
