so could I say...but another type of firewire interface (I/O) and have access to those inputs and outputs as well...

for example (just for clarity)

the 1082 has 10 inputs (including the spdif (whatever that is...2 more digitial inputs in one connection right?) anyway...

the 1082 has 10 inputs that i can assign tracks in logic to.

so if I connect another 1082 would I then have 20 inputs that could be assigned to tracks in logic?....

if so wow!!!
