How good is the MBA Battery life?

Let me know please. I really want / need one for taking notes in class and would like to know how long of battery life you guys get out of a full charge. Also, if possible, let me know which MBA you have (eg. 1.8/SSD etc.)

1.6 / 80. 3hr 45min to 4hr 30min. Airport, office, mail & display at 1/2 brightness. No complaints whatsoever.

Thanks all of you for answering so quickly! I do not have wireless at my school (High School) so I'm definately going to pick one of these up sometime this month. Thanks!
 
With internet use, wifi, MS Word, MS Excel, just the light basic stuff, I get between 4.5 to 5.0 hours per battery.

I guess there in lies one difference between my HDD and your SSD.

Still will wait for price to drop on those suckers before I'll pull the trigger.🙄
 
I presume that's contiguous use, and even then I cast doubt on those figures. I get ~3.5 hours with wireless on, display two notches from minimum, officey stuff.

Unlike Vista, I can't choose between hibernate or sleep so for a quick startup time it's slept during the day. During the course of the average 8-hour working day, the instances of sleep during that time takes around 10% out of the charge - so you can extrapolate that even counting that, it doesn't actually go over 4 hours.
