Check wireless router speed

I was just wondering if there was a way to check how fast my macbook pro is connected wirelessly to my router. I'm sure there has to be some way to do this...

Open Network Utility in the Utilities folder and look under the Info tab. It should say in the Link Speed: "your connected speed" in the Info panel.
