:( iphone smashed by dad :O :@
Well he dropped it and now the bottom of the screen is cracked, its a very big crack like 4 cm ones so yeah its had it, its jailbroken and activated (dev) etc. So where do i go from here?
Do you think apple will replace it? i was thinking that i could give it a clean swipe and say to apple i was charging and woke up with the screen cracked, most likely due to the heat and it stopped responding so i did a restore on it. What you guys think? + what is virginising your iphone mean???? How can i give it a clean swipe ? THanks for all the help muchos apreciateddd |

Just do a restore, that should "virginize" your iphone again. and it should be safe.
as for seding it to apple. who knows, everyones outcome is differnt |

i don't think the apple store would buy your story of waking up to find your iphone's screen somehow cracked in the middle of the night. either pay to get the screen fixed or buy a new phone.

hmmm well i guess it can be a hardware flaw of over heating ...therefore glass and heat can be buyable,
huge glass screen is too much of a design flaw imo.. |

I'm putting a stop to this here.
I'm all for Apple replacing genuine hardware faults on jailbroken/unlocked phones, but to want to get a phone that you/someone else actually smashed replaced free of charge by claiming a design defect is just plain wrong. Do what you will, but don't expect any help or encouragement here.
