osX wireless mouse, how to install?

Just purchased a new macbook pro and i cannot figure out how
to get the wireless mouse to install, anyone please give me some details ;/
been trying to get this thing to work for 2 hours now..

Turn Bluetooth on.
Turn the mouse on.

I think that's about it. Maybe Pairing is needed ("set up Bluetooth device " under the bluetooth menu.

how do I go about turning on bluetooth?
im pretty new to mac so yeah.. thanks for the help

lol.. I feel quite stupid now.. thanks guys its working
anyway to set the speed of the cursor movements like in windows?
the mouse is a wee bit sluggish

If you go to System Preferences, keyboard and mouse, you should be able to change the tracking speed.
