so where the hell is the 'up' key on a macbook?

i mean the 'up' arrow key that is required to log out. go to the apple logo in the top left of the screen, the log out short command is an up arrow, command and Q.

where the hell is the up arrow, ive tried the arrow on the arrow keys but that doesnt work.

its driving me crazy!!!

Shift, and at least on my MacBook its printed on the key 😛.

Don't worry, we all ask silly questions sometimes 😉.

Haha! Certainly not a stupid question as I had the same one myself. I spent 3 days trying to figure out why my keyboard shortcuts didn't do anything until I stumbled across the mac keyboard symbols picture in one of the guides here. What a life saver!

I had the same problem figuring out what the "up arrow" stood for when I first switched to Mac about 2 years ago.

Cheers.
