I fail to see what specific relevance this has to the Mac Pro?

Also it might be a good idea to give the source of these images (one appears to be HotHardware) and state what system was used. Stealing bandwidth is just rude...

I could see the relevance if the system specifications had in any way resembled the Mac Pro. AnandTech atleast used a SkullTrail system based on the i5400.

You would take issue because you think ATI is so great. Well, headlines for you, THEY ARE NOT!!!

"Relevance to the Mac Pro"
Barefeats on this forum keeps showing benchtests of PC cards on the Mac Pro.
Many people on this forum ask about PC cards running on the Windows side of the Mac Pro.
There were many posts made about the 3870 X2.
To balance it out, here is nVidia's side of the coin.

"it might be a good idea to give the source of these images"
You may be many things but you are not stupid. You know as well as I do that all you've got to do is "control" click the image to find it's source.

"I could see the relevance if the system specifications had in any way resembled the Mac Pro. AnandTech atleast used a SkullTrail system based on the i5400."
The main thing is the cards were all compared on the same system.
Therefore it should have been an even battle.

Thanks for the calm message.

My points are still valid though. Stealing bandwidth is not something I hope Macrumors encourages.

What I care about in regards to the Mac Pro is how a specific graphic card performs in professional applications inside Mac OS X.

After all, that is the intended market of the Mac Pro. Don't worry though, down the line I will buy the Geforce 8800 GT when it delivers better performance and equal features as the standard card found in the Mac Pro.

I do not really care if the graphic card is from one vendor or the other, just that they deliver and do it well.

I am sorry if you feel like I cherry-picked your thread over the others here but that was not my intention. What I think made me respond were the lack of ethics in regards to stealing bandwidth from other sites.

I love that signature! :D

Thank you :)

Okay, I've never looked at it that way.
From now on I'll post the images from my web site and add links.
