That cartoony black/white combination seems too tacky for apple, even if I were to believe this was not a fake.

while i can pretty much say thats a mock-up, it looks pretty tight. may be just a custom case someone put on theirs, i know there are company who will do custom case redesigns but i've never seen one like this

I understand where you are coming from. But this is cell phone territory, and they are tacky!

Real or Fake? Hard to say. Probably fake.

Edit: With the new iPhone being 3G, maybe Apple will make a significant change to the case so it will be easy to see the difference.

no because the colorware ones still have 2 pieces on the back, there is no apparent seam on this one

Totally TACKY and I hope to god it does not look like that. The black is OK but High Gloss??? It will scratch way to easy and show scuffs. Flat/Matte black would be acceptable and it depends on what the front looks like. The silver bezel has GOT to go!!!

Nope, I would have to say that this is someone's fantasy photo shop again!

I thought it was matte black, not glossy?

And can anyone read what the bottom part of writing on it is? Where it usually shows the capacity. I can make out a 3 but nothing after. Anyone got photoshop at work to magnify?

I don't think so...colorware jobs have the antenna line and wouldn't say iPhone on the back....of course it could have been photoshopped from a colorware phone.

I see speckles. Would the light angle provide that kind of detailed speckles?

Anyhow, that does not seem like Apple's style. More like a modification of some sort such as Colorware.

iPhone shape will remain same.. they wouldnt want to make it thicker its the perfect size right now.. so sleek... if anything they would like to go thinner even if its by a fraccccction.....
