restore jailbroken/unlocked iphone?

if i jailbroke/unlocked my iphone with ziphone 2.6 and no longer want it, does the restore setting on the ziphone restore it back to factory default settings? will they know i jailbroke it?
 
Once its restored i don't think there is anyway to tell that the phone has ever been unlocked.
