Where to install display Color Profiles?

(Please ignore - I found the answer to the question asked below. I was looking in the wrong place)

Where is the proper place to move the various display Color Profiles posted in various threads?

I would like to try a few but unsure where they belong. One post suggested library > color sync > profiles then displays

However my only color sync listing (using spotlight) is an application. I have no color sync in the library folder. Only "ColorPickers" and placing the .icc there did not place the profile as an option in the system pref display section.

What am I missing?

You can place ICC color profiles in /Library/ColorSync/Profiles if you want anyone on the computer to use them or you can put them in ~/Library/ColorSync/Profile if you want only yourself to use them.

Once the ICC profile files are in one of those directories, you then go to System Prefences, select Display, then select Color tab and select the profile you want to use.
