What web cam do you use if your monitor has none built in? I am planning on a MacPro purchase and just realized that the Apple monitors do not have a camera built in... now what?

Do Logitech web cams work with OS/X?

I've been quite happy with my firewire iSight, but, sadly, Apple no longer makes them and the only way to get them is used...

Here's some options: iMage Webcam and Macally iceCam. Hope that helped. 🙂

Try getting an iSight through the second hand market. It works great.

I use Logitech's QuickCam® Ultra Vision SE with my Mac Pro. Works great.

I use a logitech Quickcam Pro 5000, it is excellent. There are even better options nowadays.

Thank you all for helping. I am beginning to chill on the Mac Pro, mostly because of the cost of a new ACD monitor. And the fact that I think quad-iMacs can not be very far away. If that happens soon I will just get the iMac. And therefore not need to worry about web cam... for now.😕😱
