Hi i have a MKV which i am doing a passthrough to MP4 with quicktime Pro, I seem to have a good MP4 file which works fine in Quicktime and itunes before touching it with metax. When i tag the show in metax it seems to corrupt the file and i cant do anything with it has anyone got any ideas. Is there an alternative to Metax i could try?

It drives me mad just putting the file in to itunes without all the correct tags. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have attached some pics of what i am doing in quicktime i really do not want to go through the re-encoding process as i am on a imac G5 and this takes for ever.

I have not tried it yet but there is a program called "lostify" that is supposed to do the same thing for tv shows that meta x does.

I have not tried it yet, but as unstable as metax is I might have to.

if you try it out please post back your impressions of it please.
