no security slot. arrgh!
no security slot is standing between me and an mba. is there a solution short of a bicycle lock? will they rectify this next version? I always cable lock my pro in a coffee shop. As Kissinger said, even paranoids have real thieves
waiting to snatch their laptops. |

You could try something like this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/51286 but you would have to attach it to the lid....
I have designed an attachment that would allow for a Kensington lock to be used on the side of the machine and have sent the specs to a milling company to price one out. For anyone who would buy one, what do you think a fair retail price would be? It will obviously be matte finished aluminum. Basically a plate that attaches under the Air with the slot attachment sticking out of the side a little. Last edited by n0de; Apr 10, 2008 at 03:29 PM. |

security slot misssing
I'm kind of an aesthetic purist. I wouldn't want to attach something to the book.
And I think most mac users are too. thanks for the thought |
