iPod touch Icons of Music Menu have disappeared

Ok, so when you are in the home menu of the iPod touch, and you click music, there is usually: songs artists playlists albums and misc or something where you can edit them. however, for some reason all of a sudden, i only have Songs, Artists, and Playlists. I cant even edit anything. it has never been like this before it just happened. I have tried turning it off and on, and plugging it into computer and so on but nothing is helping. I really need your help thank you!!!!!​
