Using iPod through stereo speakers?

Use a 3.5mm to RCA jack adapter and connect the RCA jacks to CD-in or something similar.
You could plug the 3.5mm into the dock jack on 3G iPod's or the headphone jack of the iPod. If using the headphone jack, I find that keeping the volume about 3/4 full yields good results.
