iMail and Hotmail accounts?

A friend that has just "switched" asked me to set up Hotmail through iMail for him. Never having used Hotmail I'm not sure if this is possible...

If it is how do you configure it/is there a web page that describes it?

erm...

yeah i do...i thought it was all iX...

I found the answer I think. Seems that only outlook express can play with hotmail. unless you want to install weird scripts and such...

Anyway I think I sold him .Mac instead...

check out the httpmail plugin for Mail. Just to to version tracker and type in hotmail you'll see it. Follow the install instructions(it's important) and it'll work like a charm.
 
I've been trying this for about 2 hours straight. I did everyything that was listed and everytime I ry I get errors
they usually look like this

im using the lates version of iMail

what can I do ?
